High resolution tracking of kinesin motors using germanium nanospheres
Advisor: Erik Schäffer
PhD Program: International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) 'From Molecules to Organisms'
Location: University of Tübingen
Project description
You will work with kinesins and microtubule associated proteins that are involved in transport or cell division. Using purified components and reconstituted assays, you will perform ultraresolution tracking, single-molecule localization and force measurements to decipher how these molecular machines fulfil their cellular function.
